Overview
Activate State is a series of pilot programs driven by community needs. Keeping in mind long term sustainability and inclusivity, programs are specific, small-scale, short-term activations to test the viability and effectiveness of a new idea.
Our pilot programs serve as a crucial testing ground to learn, gather data and ultimately inform the successful implementation or refinement of a larger comprehensive multi-year city backed plan that addresses the future long term needs of State Street.

Vacant to Vibrant
In collaboration with our art community and property owners, vacant storefronts and buildings are temporarily brought to life with short term pop-ups to increase foot traffic and opportunities for potential long term tenants to visualize their space there.
